What can cause the status 3: Server Fault (redundancy)

The servers can be switched over and client will also find the master server. I want to know what can cause the server fault error-> Internal WinCC tag: RedundantServerState I have seen that in the logfile, there are tags which have a incorrect format between AS and OS I have seen that for one PLC program in the multiproject, the netpro connection is only made to server 1 and not server 2. Could any of the two problems can set the server to fault state?

bg2492 Diamond Member Joined: 5/16/2014 Last visit: 9/12/2022 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2172)	Hello Oreca, the Fault-State (3) is usually caused, when a process of WinCChas got a crash or overload. Connection problems do usually not cause directly the Fault-State, but secondary effects, like a crash of the script-execution can cause this. You should check the eventlogs (Application) of the OS, if you can find some crashes of processes. Regards Georg Berghof
