Might be the when gear ratio is not 1:1. Speed Motor is different from shaft speed?!? |

The CUD manual (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109763564) says in the description of r22: "r0022 is identical to r0021, however, it always has units of rpm and contrary to r0021 cannot be changed over." |

Hi again PISCEAN 2010, Thank you for answering. Please also see the enclosed pics. It is a running machine and it is working OK (we want to see the actual rotation speed in connection with vibration measurements on the shaft while running). I looked at r0021 and r0022 (and r0061) in an online view in the Starter program - and r0021 and r 0022 was always showing the same value and this value seemed to follow the value of r0061 with a small delay. The encoders we use normally are incremental and 1000 pulses per revolution is a probable value. The drive is one of 16 drives (DC and AC) on the machine and they are all controlled by a PLC. Both the encoder and the manual measurements were done on the motor shaft - before any gearbox so the gearbox parameters should have no influence. I did not set any values for this drive - this was done by our automation supplier when the whole machine was commissioned almost 3 years ago - or by them during various modifications since then. I can naturally check the parameters to see if the parameters are correct but - as the machine is functioning as it is - I will need to be very convinced to change any of them. The drive is a Siemens 6RA8091-6DV62-0AA0 but I haven't found the motor details in the documentation so far. My coworker who was here during the renovation of the machine has also told me that they could not find the nameplate of the machine so our automation supplier might have adapted something here to make things work. Again - I would like to understand WHICH parameters that have the effect of changing r0061 from the 1350 - 1370 rpm the shaft is really rotating to the 460 - 470 rpm STARTER is showing me
