WinCC Unified Faceplate Script Javascript

Dear all,

VBscript for Faceplates scripting is still VBscript. Any idea why there is not Javascript in the faceplates, too?

Why should I have 2 different langauges on the same platform. Isn't VB completely left over?

in WinCC Unified, scripting uses only JavaScript.
Also in faceplates, only JavaScript is used, not VBS. 

Where did you see VBS in Unified?

Yes I can confirm, in WinCC Unified the "one and Only" Script Language is Javascript!!

Where do you define the Faceplate?

-> If you do this in the Project library then this Faceplate cannot be used in a WinCC Unified Project, because WinCC unified does not support the Library concept in V16!! This Faceplates are only for WinCC Comfort/Advanced or WinCC Professional (you have to define if you create).

If you use the Faceplate types for WinCC unified then there you can only use Javascript.

Faceplates in WinCC Unified are meant to be created under "Common Data".

I hope the library concept will be available in the next versions. Do you know anything about it?
