315-2EG10-0AB0 EOL was 2013, so unless you are using a very old TIA Portal _and_ that 315-2 was supported back then, you will not be able to use that 315-2 with TIA Portal at all.

You can research the same for the 314C-2 to see if that is similarly EOL time frame.

i have the same problem i am using a 
CPU 315-2 PN/DP (Part No. 315-2EG10-0AB0)
CPU 314C-2 DP (Part No. 314-6CF02-0AB0)
and non of these CPU are available on tia  portal if you solve your problem please help me or if there any one can help.
