Hi ixo65, Need your help again on this program. The logic that you had written was used for controlling the location of the positioning cylinder. Now everything is ok except that when the value (analog input value reaches the setpoint example 100, i understand that the analog input value is not very accurate/stable instead there is very small variation (between 99 & 101). Therefore the the relay output keep energizing & de-energizing at this range. I now need to add a dead band so that the relay output stops from energizing when the actual reaches setpoint value and if there any small changes (example between 99 & 101) then PLC output should remain OFF. Please advise on how this can be achieved. Just share a separate example on writing logic for dead band will be enough. I will then put than re-create that portion of logic into the previous version of program that you had shared. Thank you in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

You can put delay on or delay off before output with delay time aprox 1-2 seconds is fine. ...sent from App |
