1KF02 analog module is support in PCS7 V7.1 SP2

venkatvetri Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts... I'm in middle of problem.. I have a PCS 7 Project (V7.1 SP2). The panel we have sent contains 1KF02 serial analog I/P module. But my predecessor had developed the hardware configuration with 1KF01. Now the project has been transformed to me. I have just notified the conflict. I have tried to replace the 1KF01 module with 1KF02 in the H/W config. But I am not able to find 1KF02 module in the library. Kindly clarify that PCS7 does support 1KF02 module or not..? Kindly guide me to to proceed further................! Thanks in Adv.. Regds, Venkat

Yoga Shankar Posts: 288 Rating: (22)	For V7.1, 1KF02 module is not "released". However, if you configure the System hardware config using 1KF01 instaed, the system will work just fine. Only problem you face will be reduced functionality of the 1KF02 module, as it will perform all the functions of 1KF01 but not the enhancementswhich are part of the 1KF02 specifications. If you plan to use the module only to acquire normal 2/4 wire analog signals, the conflict does not matter at all. the system will not crash on account of this
