Hi,
the " Sales and Delivery Release for 25mm S7-1500 Digital Modules" (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/br/pt/view/89257659/en) shows the differences.
..."In contrast to the existing 35mm modules, the new 25mm modules provide no parameterization and diagnostics. They are thus easy to include in the configuration. The new modules are ideal where space is a premium. The reduction of the width from 35mm to 25mm reduces the footprint by approx. 30%. Their use is recommended where either only a few modules are required, or where in contrast a large number of channels must fit into a confined space. For example, the new modules enable the maximum configuration of a ET 200MP station - consisting of system power supply, interface module and 30 I/O modules - to be mounted on a 830mm mounting rail and thus fit it into a standard switchboard.
