I have recently a modification in a machine, they have installed et200s modules, and i have to add to the program a simple graphic of temperature, i install a honeywell udc controller and it provide me a analog signal 4..20 mA of temperature value, so when i try to connect to et200s module 2 ai 134-4GB00-0AB0, and i checkin the program only show me -32768 like nothing was connected, in the module the wiring information shows for first input klemme 1(+) and 2(-) are the first analog input and the klemme 5(+) and 6(-), and i wire the output from the honeywell controller + with + and - with -, but not response, but after make a test with analog output simulator i check that the wiring that the module recognize is connect1(+) from modulewith (-) from honeywell controller and2(-) from module with (+) from honeywell controller, so what is the correct way to connect or why is working with this configuration Thanks

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 8768 Rating: (1170)	Hello Automation_Systems, You are using ET200s AI 2-wire (4gb00), meaning that the Card is providing voltage to sensor, to generate 4-20 mA signal. See manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25545977 Perhaps you need ET200s AI 4-wire (4gb11), meaning that the sensor has it's own supply voltage.
