400H - IO status (IO on rack)

Good day,

I have a 400H setup with duplicated IO card on Rack 0 and Rack 1 for redundancy.

Normaly when the 400H is in redundant mode, I send out the same status on the digital analog output card, but what happens if someting goes wrong and 400H goes into solo mode ?

I can see in the hardware configuration for the digital output card I can select if the signal I can select:

1. Keep last valid value (KLV)
2. Substiute a value (SV)

What about analog output, are they going to zero (0) when the spesific CPU goes to stop (singel mode) ?

As I understand your system, you have AQ modules in the central racks of your S7-400H system.  Since the AQ module for the S7-400 central rack I/O (6ES7 432-1HF00-0AB0) does not support a substitute value, then the output value from the card if the local CPU fails but power is still applied to the module will be the last value before failure.  If power is lost to the module, the output value will be 0.
