6 Load Cell Balancing - BW500

Quick question on an install we're doing with a 6 load cell/BW500 scale.  We only have a calibration chain and no static weights to balance cells A,C,E and B,D,F.  I'm wondering if there is another procedure someone has used to balance them that is different from the procedure in the manual.

The essence of a balancing procedure is to use weights.  There is no other way to achieve this.  Weights do not have to be the type supplied by Siemens, but they must be weighed with an accurate scale to ensure they are all the same mass when performing this 6 load cell procedure.

The chain is an excellent means for calibration and we recommend it as our best solution, but it cannot be used for balancing any type of scale...
