dimigav Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I have CPU614 and when I push the memory card inside the slot, lights up the SF LED. If the memory card is not slotted no error. Can someone help me with this fault? And if you have any manual for this CPU, because I cannot find it?

That card, does it "belong" to the CPU or you took it from another project? About manual, take a look in dchartier Hello dimigav; One of my early jobs working with Siemens products was as technical support for a Siemens Distributor in North America. I had to deal only once with a CPU 614, as a special request from a good client of ours, who had one mounted on a platics extruding machine. Even at that time (around 2000)the manuals and documentation for this product was very difficult to locate. The CPU 614 was based on a CPU 315, but it was a specialty CPU designed for the plastics industry, with specific technological functions unavailable elsewhere, developpedby the Alpharetta, Ga, branch of Siemens America. I was only able to transfer information to my client by agreeing not to keep any copyof any document related to the CPU 614. At this time all versions of the CPU 614 are discontinued, and enteringcancellation phase: help on the product is only available through Siemens spare-parts management. dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 12/4/2023 Posts: 12187 Rating: (2637)	Hello dimigav; If the MMC came with the CPU 614 at delivery, it probably was designed to work with the technological functions specially designed for it. It is very probable that the standard CPU 315 documentation will not address these special functions and will not allow to program it, directly. Especially if the slotted standard MMC card gives you a SF LED signal. If you cannot locate the orignal source (in Alphareta, Ga) then I can only suggest you try a Support Request (see the link at the right of this pge). Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
