takako Advanced Member Joined: 10/13/2014 Last visit: 9/21/2024 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	hello, I need help with a crash that is occurring in our equipment; Simoreg 6ra70 fault F036, after the occurrence of the failure, we exchanged the firing board, however, the failure continues, thyristors, snnuber are ok, it is possible to check the signs of cud for firing board? because I suspect you may be this board, someone agrees or disagrees that can be CUD this card really?

KSN Platinum Expert Joined: 8/25/2006 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 2211 Rating: (280)	Hello/ Did you check all possible fault causes: manual Possible fault causes ♦ Armature circuit is open (e.g. DC fuses have blown, open circuit, etc.) ♦ Rectifier stability limit αG (P150) is incorrectly set ♦ Drive is operating at αG limit (e.g. due to supply undervoltage) ♦ EMF is too high because maximum speed setting is too high, refer to P083, P115, P143, P741) ♦ EMF is too high because field weakening is not selected (refer to P082) ♦ EMF is too high because field current is set too high (refer to P102) ♦ EMF is too high because transition speed for field weakening is set too high (refer to P101) ??

takako Advanced Member Joined: 10/13/2014 Last visit: 9/21/2024 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	hello, yes, had burned fuse after fault beginning F036. check thyristors ok, check snnuber ok. the parameters I'm checking, however, have not changed as I believe they are correct, the machine was in operation. When I diagnostic test thyristors, is the F061, and the firing board has been replaced and still occurs F061, when I run P830.

PISCEAN 2010 Diamond Expert Joined: 4/23/2010 Last visit: 12/31/2023 Posts: 8092 Rating: (878)	Hello, If you had specified the MLFB number of drive, it would have been much better to analyse the problem. r047:0017 - This fault value means - 2 or more thyristors cannot be fired. Possible cause is Armature circuit interrupted. Also you have mentioned "had burned fuse after fault beginning F036" Which fuse AC side or DC side? Have you checked DC motor, armature, field I.R. & resistance values? Please check the connections of G & K at PCB as well as at devices. Please confirm this first before proceeding to replace CUD.

Also, I did check all connections of the triggers of the firing board. is there any document where siemens shown the pins of X101 (gating pulses armature, armature current, electronics power supply, finally al connections) to check for signs I have one more doubt, if you can clarify: the diagnostic test thyristors, P830 = 3, this test is only in the thyristor of armature? Grateful

If you are talking about pin description of X101 connector, then I don't have any information about it. However please refer the attached sheet of power connections & thyristor connection. Once again I strongly suggest you to check the connections, especially gate & cathode connections. P830 = 3 means, thyristors will be checked at switch on or inch command & if no fault is detected, P830 will be set to 0 means thyristor checking will be disabled & will be only activate when the user set it as per the requirement. If you are sure about these checks, then CUD1 can be replaced with new one & trial can be conducted. HTH. Attachment 850A 4Q power connection.jpg (298 Downloads)
