add tia portal v14 new version of cpu

mahmoud farag zaki Advanced Member Joined: 2/12/2020 Last visit: 10/23/2024 Posts: 56 Rating: (1)	HI PLS I have aproblem i used tiaportal v14 i use s7 1200 cpu . in program tiaportal v14 i have cpu firmware v4.2 but i have"online" already cpu firmware v4.3 what can i do to make my tia portal have v4.3 thanks.

However, although there are differences between offline and online in terms of firmware, this is not a problem when loading the project. You will only receive a warning. The only limitation is that you will not have the added functionalities of the new version, but for practical purposes it is the same.

Are you sure it is an error? Please attach a screenshot of this message please. Yesterday I loaded a CPU1214 FW4.4 from TIA V15.0 as if it is firmware version 4.2. It gave me a warning but proceeded without further problems. You can work with a later version firmware that is configured as FW4.2. The trouble starts when you need the advances that the V4.3 / V4.4 firmware gives. Regards.
