irkham.junaidi Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	The number is OK, The ADDFEM is special module for implementation automation and control which require short system reaction times that has 2 profibus slave port (redundant bus) with 12 AI, 8AO,12DI , 3 Speed Measurement and 16DO. Normally used for water/steam/gas turbine application.

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi Irkham, 6DL3100-8AA. ADD FEM (FRONT END MODUL) PROFIBUS-GERAET MIT SCHNELLEN I/O-FUNKTIONEN. This is a module that is standing in the ST PCS 7.1 April 2007 catalog, please take contact with your local Siemens to ask more information about this fast I/O module. In this catalog is the "Front End Module AddFEM" with MLFB 6DL3100-8AC placed, so the -8AA is an some older module I supose.
