address types inside the DP-DP coupler

peters Posts: 122 Rating: (4)	dear experts: when i check the address types inside the DP-DP coupler,i can find three types: bit /byte/word, and the address type can not be modified(the address column is grey),could you tell me why and if we can change it please let me know,thanks very much!

Hi Peters, When declaring the DP/DP-Coupler you can choose between several blocks, when chossen then it is after that not possible to change it. So you can choose no bits, but bytes and words and the consistency have to be taken into account. See also the FAQ: What are the special features of input/output addressing with the DP/DP coupler?
