ALM V4.0 will not start!!!

dperez Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I had Step7 V5.4 sp1 with Automation license manager 3.0 and recently recieved my cd to update to 5.4 sp4. his came with the ALM V4.0. Since doing this I am unable to start my license manager!! I am also unable to start my simatic manager saying no license and there has been a problem with my license manager installation. I have re-installid the license manager several times with no success. Any clues on how to get my licenses and manager to run and work?? In desperate need of help.

HPS Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hi, check item "Automation Licence Manager V4 " on this forum. Try on reboot PG without interface (connection)onLAN or reinstall ALM.

dperez Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Each time I installed the software, all my licenses would dissapear. I uninstall and re-install ALM V3.0 and everythiing works fine. I don't think V4.0 is working with my PG for whatever reason. Don't have any answers as to what would be incompatibility...For noe V3.0 is fine. I do no special things with my license, just a stand alone computer, no networking or transfering my license,

How again activate workinglicence ALM for this problem ? 1. showtaskbar desktop 2. right button click on icon SIMATIC WinCC Flexible Start Center 3. select item SIMATIC WinCC Flexible Auto Start 4. change options Enable/Disable 5. start program requesting license 6. if need backset Enable/Disable for AutoStart ...repeat step 1 - 4 After this step (on my Field PG) running correctly.

GDA Posts: 20 Rating: (3)	I had also ALM 4.0 not starting, but I solved by removing my antivirus software. I was using Eset NOD 32 Maybeis the antivirus which prevents ALM 4.0 to start..
