Analog Input Hart with S7-300 question

Hello,

I wanted to make sure I understand what I read in the "ET 200M distributed I/O device HART analog modules" manuel.

You can only use the HART features in the 6ES7331-7TF01 when the card is installed in a ET200M drop communicating with the PLC via Profibus...?  

I have a setup with multiple ET200M drops in Profinet scattered around the plant and I want to read Values in hart enabled flow meters.   That means I cannot do that?  Is there any work around?

The manual you are refering to might be dated from 2008, this is teh version your document title points to ;you can check your own version on the cover page.

ET 200M interfaces for Profinet were not as popular then as they are now. These days, when you talk of an ET 200M station, all Profibus and Profinet configurations are supported.

Connection to PROFIBUS and PROFINET is achieved using interface modules – optionally for PROFIBUS also using fiber optic cables. The ET 200M can be used for standard as well as failsafe applications.Up to 12 multi-channel signal modules (e.g. 64 digital inputs) and function modules as well as S7-300 communications processors can be used as I/O modules – the interface to the process. I believe you can install and configure your HART modules without trepidation.
