Hello, In case of you have a sensor sends (0-20mA) and the module settings is at (4-20 mA). First of all, You will recieve un accurite readings while the sensor sends signal >= 4mA and <= 20mA. Thus because the module will understand the 4mA as "0" in analog units and the 20 mA as "27648" in analog units. If the signal of the transmitter falls below 4mA; under range signal would be detected and if it falls bellow 0, undershoot signal would be detected. So let us make an example: If your transmitter sends 10mA representing 50deg temp. If the module settings is at (0-20mA) the result in analog units would be 13824 = [(27648*10)/20] If the module settings is at (4-20mA) the result in analog units would be 10368 = [(27648*(10-4))/16] So, I do recommend to use the correct setting with the transducer.
