AS 414-4H and AS 417-4H Compatibility with PCS 7 v9.1 SP2

I've been reading SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Released modules (V9.1 SP2) document (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109812604/simatic-process-control-system-pcs-7-released-modules-(v9-1-sp2)?dti=0&lc=en-WW) but I'm not clear how to interpret it whether everything listed in the document is compatible (i.e. all AS' are essentially back compatible) or whether its only the AS-410's that are now compatible. Please could someone confirm whether our existing AS 414-4H and AS 417-4H would be supported at PCS 7 v9.1 SP2? Many thanks in advance for your support! GF.

Oreca Platinum Expert Joined: 3/14/2008 Last visit: 11/9/2024 Posts: 2124 Rating: (951)	Hi, In paragraph 20.7 you can see the 414-4H and 417-4H. Both are released for PCS7 V9.1 SP2. The code "W" means that the module wizard is support (the communication between hardware and software basically) and "X" means that the station can be used with CiR (Configuration in Run) components. Please bear mark that you will need the exact same MLFB number and check if you have the firmware as described. Lower firmware versions can get you in trouble.
