as and os s7 connection procedure

Dear experts, 

Iam little bit fresher in pcs7 side. In my pcs7 system my os is not activated. In net pro while monitoring cpu s7 connection, showing "is being set up"

I wish to know the s7 connection procedure.

Please help me.
