The two motors are synchronized. The problem is that I can not do the tunning of only one engine at a time, the mechanics do not allow me, indeed the two axes of translation are mechanically linked (I attached a diagram to understand (Sorry I'm not very good at drawing). The one button Tuning is a function which will be performed in the drive itself, not from technologyobject. I would not support the idea from Axel. The movements during one button tuning are quite fast. I would rather suggest you working in the first step without one button tuning. If the default values of the speed control are not suitable, then try to optimize via P gain and I integration time by hand. Best Regards, Technical Support for SINAMICS S210

Depend on your gear ratio and stiffness between both axis, this could work. For bigger Gantry applications I used OBT already and get a fantastic result.. If the other axis has a rigid coupling, you will have it in the transfer function (OBT would consider this) and in automatic mode, this wouldnt´have an effect. In this case, a S120 with CU320-2 is perfect. With the measuring functions there, you can do an optimization with bode plots for more coupled axis!
