BASP LED ON

Hi experts,

It is my first time with step 5 and i don't know how solve my problem. My CPU 135U 928B model, in my rack I has only the CPU and CP1430, my software is the siemens sample for communicate between S5 and S7. When I switch CPU for run, the stop led are flashin and BASP led on. I already try to reestart CPU and don't solve. I have no battery 3,6V/5Ah could it be the problem?

Hello Gustavo,

BASP LED On means that the PLC has to write to an adress that he doesn't find. As a matter a fact, the BASP inhibits all configured outputs.

QVZ : is a time out on the inputs.

It's already a long time ago that I'm confronted with these led's.

What you can try :

- Does your CPU run on empty program ?

- Did you configure some I/O in DB1 and if so does it correspond with the physical settings ?

- Does you configuration CP143 on S5 side and NetPro configuration on S7 side correspond according to mac adresses and IP adresses ?
