Can't find 314-1 at HW Config

Hello,

I have problem with my S7-300. I can't find it in HW Config my PLC. Its number is 6ES7-314-1AC00-0AB0. At screen you can see which PLC's I can choose.

At SIOS search site I didn't find any informations about this PLC.

Can somebody help me?

This manual is dated 2001, and it does not contain anything on a CPU 314-1AC00- 0AB0.

There is no link to that part number either in the Industry Mall, the S7-300 refurbisher shops on the web (those that present such a part number all show "not available" or "call for a quote", which means...), or on specialized sites on datasheets and manuals.

So, either it is really, really obsolete as ixo65 said ( and no longer supported even by Step 7 v5.x), or you will have to follow AmolG's recommendation to attempt a Support Request to ask a Siemens tech (link at the top of this page). Or... you could make sure about this part number on the CPU. The markings on the front bezel sometimes get erased over time, but the ones on the side of the modules generally are preserved. Could you remove the CPU from the rack and take a picture of the label you will find there?

In some special cases and as per request from OEM to protect there data from copy protection siemens develops some special products which are normally not available for normal user.If possible put service request

Do you notice the battery is missing. You will need the battery to keep the program. That PLC is old. Are you starting a graveyard / museum for old PLCs?

 When I tried to see something in this PLC in online mode (Accessible nodes) I saw some blocks so some program is saved there.

I know about the battery. Its price in Poland is higher than I paid for this PLC.

I only wanted to test it, not opening a museum.

I am happy to hear you were just testing. {wipe off sweat}
Interesting that you could view some data from the PLC. Perhaps it is SFC and SFB codes that make up the library functions -- they are embedded into the PLC.

Did you try make a type of an upload?
I have had success with Step7 V5 to use a generic firmware CPU and load a program in the PLC. I would not even think of trying this with TIA Portal. You have nothing to loose (but your time) in testing different configurations.
