Change IP adress on communication PLC-HMI

I send a control cabinet with PLC S7 1200, HMI TP700 and FREQ G120C The basic communication IP adress between these are PLC: 192.168.0.1 HMI: 192.168.0.2 FREQ: 192.168.0.3 I send this cabinet to my customer. Then he wants to change the IP adresses on site. Is this even possible? I think the communication is loaded with the PLC program and I have seen nowhere that you can change it. It doesn't matter if it is done with external program (but not TIA portal) or done in the HMI. Is it possible?

The PLC is changeable using the s7-1200 tool (download available on the siemens support site). The FREQ (drive?) is typically changeable via drive control panel or starter. The problem is if you change the ip address of the drive, the plc project may not be able to communicate. If you do decide to test this in your shop before shipping the equipment, be sure and disconnect all network cables from the hmi and freq (drive) so the s7-1200 tool can change the plc ip address. You could change them all to 192.168.0.11/.12/.13 and if they all communicate without needing the plc project changed, you can feel more confident it will also work with your customer.

Hello rQx, You are welcome For your short yet very helpful answer, this is one of those cases where it seems right to add my own thanks in words rather than the clicking of a button. I had never seen that fairly well hidden instruction before your post. I am trying to imagine in my current work where I might use it, and the best I could come up with is if I shipped something to another country where I might want the PLC on an accessible network for remote operation and troubleshooting temporarily, and then restart the plc so it would revert back to local operation only. I then read the intro one more time and this key piece stood out for me: "It only takes effect, however, if you explicitly specified in the hardware configuration that IP parameters are assigned via the user program." That means I can't change the program on the fly and add the t-config command without also changing the hardware configuration to allow programmatic setting of the PN details. This is very useful information!
