Changing 6GK1143-0AA01 card into 6GK1143-OTA02 card

We intend to change 6GK1143-0AA01 card into 6GK1143-OTA02 (EPROM 6ES5-376-1AA21/no programmed) what steps should we do? In order to have this new card worked properly. For your information, we have Simatic PG720 + software Sinec CP1430. Best regards Luke

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Luke, this is not a big thing. The things you need is STEP 5, COM NCM 1430 TF and the configuration file of the CP 143. The NCM COM 1430 offers a Import function for the CP 143 configuration, that can be converted to a CP 1430 configuration than. My experience shows that it is very important to check the TSAPs because sometimes it happens that these are changed or are missing after the conversion. This configuration can be loaded to the Flash of the CP than. With that the CP can be loaded. Within the Program, I think, you do not have to change a thing. Try it. Best regards J_Bell

We have backed-up file configuration of CP143, pakuwon.143. My question is how to transfer this file configuration into Flash 6ES5374-2KH21? As we try to open it using COM NCM1430 TF, it cannot be read since the ext of pakuwon is 143, while COM NCM1430 TF is INI. How to convert the ext 143 to INI then? How to verify TSAPs? And where should we go, via COM143TF or COM1430TF? Would you please give me advice for it, since I’m the beginner. Thanks and regards, Luke

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello Luke, well, this is actually not that big thing. First you have to open the NCM COM 1430 TF. You have to enter any filename there you want to use, the NCM File of the CP 143 will not work. After doing this you accept these settings and you enter the main menu.There is a point you can see called Transfer. Below that you see the CP 143 Converter.Selecting this andentering its submenu you find the point FD (CP 143) --> FD (CP 1430). This is the point you are looking for. Changing the TSAP’s has to be done within the Connection settings, but this would be too much to explain here. I would really recommend to consult the Manual for the CP 1430 in this point.
