hi all if i need to upload s7 300 to my laptop but the cpu conector is ocubied with control center what should i do? |

Hello OLD_tom; If I understand your problem correctly (you don't give very much details...), you have a CPU with the MPI interface connected to an HMI over MPI, and you need to connect your programming unit (refered to as a PG in Siemens vocabulary) at the same time. So you will need something that allows some kind of Y-connection at the MPI port. If you look at the document attached, you will see what Siemens users do in this case: they use Profibus cable between the MPI port and the HMI control center, and at the CPU MPI interfaceside they use a Profibus connector with PG socket; this isthe secondary connection at the back of the connector that you see in the image I propose (sorry, details are small, but you should be able tosee it).With this PG socket you can connect and disconnect your programming unit to the MPI port without disturbing the connection to the HMI.
