Communication between Simoreg and S7-300

kid237 Posts: 158 Rating: (3)	Hi, I am trying to set up communication between Simoreg (6RA7025)and S7-300(CPU 315). Can i get some assistance to do this? as i am still new to this field or, Is there any manuals for this purpose? Regars.

Your CPU seems to be already chosen, with no integrated PTP port or Profibus-DP interface... I would then look into the 3rd proposal,Drives ES. Floyd Posts: 130 Rating: (1)	I have done a 315-2dp to 6RA70 w/profibus and drivesES. It worked GREAT!. I displayed a trend on a MP270 that showed significant process data, Ia, Ifield, Va, Vfield, etc. I maxed out the PZD capibilities, and the trendfeature of the HMI sure helped tuning the drive. BTW this was a motor generator set on an old RTG crane.
