Hallo dears, I have a problem with communication between two CPU's thourought the PROFINET IO. Always I get system fault when I try to use FC11 or FC 12,but only on CPU 317-2.I don't know why. When I use FC's on CPU 315-2 everything is ok and I can communicate. Please someone to halpe me. Best regardes from RASA from Belgrade!!! AttachmentXellaT_4.zip (185 Downloads) |

Hello, In your project,i did not found any CP. It is only possible to use the CPU of your project as PROFINET IO Controller (+/- as DP master), not a IO device (+/- DP slave). Controller-Controller communication could be done via Profinet CBA, but in this case you need an option package called iMAP. A simpler solution is just to configure a S7-connection between both CPUs in NETPRO. Over that connection you can exchange data using the blocs: - Bsend/brecv - Usend/Urcv - Put - Get An example of BSend/Brcv can be found here. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18516182 Instead of using the blocs for CPs, use the same FBs but the version for the CPU (in the standard lib). In theory, you could also use the so called "open IE" to realize a native TCP connection, but it is more complicated than an S7 connection between two S7-CPUs. |

new question is published within a new thread too. Please discusse it withinthe threadPROFIBUS between CPU 317-2 PN/DP and CPU 315-2 PN/DP which is published within the same conference. Best regards CS Moderator |
