Communication with CPU317-2DP and CP343-1 Lean card

The LOGO! 0BA8 can only Ethernet TCP/IP with S7 protocol and (from LOGO! 8.1 upwards) Modbus TCP/IP.

If you want to communicate with a S7-300, then must you have a PN CPU or a CO that can PN.

Can you please help on my query.

I have CPU317-2DP with CP343-1 Lean card.

I m having Step -7 v 5.6 & LOGO 8.3.

Do i need to write get/put instruction to communicate to logo?

As a test: I have used another CPU with on board card CPU317-2PN/DP with LOGO 8.3 , the communication is very straight forward as per "Setting up communication LOGO! …0BA7 – S7-300" this document.

But my issue is my CPU is not having on board ethernet card.

Can you please let me know a step by step procedure to establish the communication for my case.
