COMOS Web V2.0.1 Issue

I saw such an issue before...

--> please check if your login name can be found in the list of the users, in COMOS itself, in this affected database. It must be written in uppercase, only uppercase. Also, it must be a COMOS admin.

--> If the xxxxxxxx user is missing in that list of users, in COMOS itself, please add it and grant the admin rights for it.

--> Please check the ODBC connections, you can test them with COMOS. Also please make sure to use the 32 bits version of the ODBC tool in Windows.

--> The Databases needs to be entered in the "ComosGateway.config.xml" file. The documentation of Mobile Solutions shows how to do that.

--> If needed, after configuration changes, please start a dos box as a Window-Admin, enter the command

iisreset

than press enter 

--> Maybe creating a log file of the issue can show you where exactly the issue comes from. Here you see two FAQ document, which explains how to do that:

... depending if you do that on the client or on the server side.

--> For some issues, it can be helpful to have a closer look into the event view of Windows itself. If necessary, please do so.

--> Please check the Authentication of the Mobile Solutions sides, in the IIS, according with the documentation.

Only the side "Web" needs to have the Windows Authentication, all the other must be turned off.

All the other sides needs the "Anonymous", all the other must be switched off.

I'm sure that you will manage that.

--> Finally: please do share with all of us here, which was the solution to your issue. At best, you try one solution suggestion, reset the IIS and try again: like this you will directly see which one helps, also you will save time not applying solutions which are not needed any more. I hope you will agree with me ;-)

--> By the way: the recommended browser, from the Mobile Solutions documentation, is Chrome.
