Hello Shailesh; The Profibus connectors are part of the physical layer definition for RS-485(copper) networks, and nothing really "happens" inside them once the wiring and termination have been properly done at installation time. The cyclic data exchange between the masters and the slaves can be examined from (at least) 2 levels: the PLCprogrammmer's view (bus accesses, timings, order of polling), and the manufacturer of DP-slaves view (more electronics, scheduling, and data transfer).
