Thangabali Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	I have Wincc Redundant Server & created configuration in Simatic Environment for OS Server & OS Standby. OS are communicating on Named Connection in Wincc using external ethernet card. Everythings works fine but sometime after force shutdown of PC, IE General has been removed automatically from Station Configurator. So communication with wincc is disconnected. So need to configure PC again to establish communication. Anyone having solution for this?

That isnt the normal way of doing it that too in a server client configuration which can bring you surpises like those.

Some versions (older) are known to have some bugs like IE General disappearing. You can check if there are Updates (fixes) available to solve your issue.

Please check the power management settings of the ethernet card. Is the Ethernet card drivers are correct? Can you collect diagnostic data of winCC? Please give us information about the softwares which you are using.

That isnt the normal way of doing it that too in a server client configuration which can bring you surpises like those. Sometime things are notin our control. & may need to force shutdown.
