connecting a et200m to my project

In my project i try to attach a substation to my project.

I started it with a cpu 315 2dp with some input and output modules this was working oke.  after that i connected a et200m and a digital input module with a purple cable to my cpu 315 and the red lights started to flash.

searching on the internet what it could be i learned that it must be a networking problem,  so i start to work on that but with no result. 

info: on et200m red light  SF is off, red light BF is on, there's a green light for that the module is on                on cpu315 red light  SF is on, red light BF is flashing,  a green light for that the module is on  apparently cpu itself is working oke  if i force output high on output module it works

i noticed that there are many network settings possible for this and i tried some variants but with no result (see attachment)

A =if i right mouse click, object properties, i tried  networked/not networked, i gave it mpi address 2  B = to this i connect purple cable, i networked it,  gave it mpi address 3                                               C = i noticed a '1'   i dont know what to do with this or what it tells me                                                D = i also noticed a 1,  the same as C  dont know what it says me                                                    E = in this line i see confirmed mpi address is set to '2'                                                                         F = line to where i connected my profibuss cable i don't see address '3' but i do notice I= 2047         G = the et200m with profibuss adress set to '5' if i right click mouse on properties i notice diagnostic adress 2046                                                                                                                                          H = apparently the cp 343-1 also needs mpi address so i gave it 4

on the et200m are some dip swithes mounted  i turned  1 and 4 on so that makes 5 in total  as i assigned 5 in point G

the profibuss cable that i used between my cpu and et200m is approximately one meter long i used original siemens connectors  i just connected red wire to red terminal in connector and green  wire the same,  i also experimented with end resistors but with no result 

since i tried so much with no result i start doubting about et200m but since SF ligt is turned off on this one i asume that module is not broking,  am i correct?

is there a way to discover what i did wrong or how to make this working?

possible is the address try to put ON dip switch 1 and 3

dip switch settings:

dip    address

1    =    1

2    =    2

3    =    4

4    =    8

5    =   16

6    =   32

7    =   64

thanks for help,  iam trying  profibus and not profinet

i also experimented some with  dip swichtes settings /other ip adresses  but with no result.

my conclusion,  on my et200 m the SF  light is off   so i say  this module is good and not broken

so i must find a solution in my settings.  Is this conclusion correct.

recommend (also post zip file with screenshots) check Profibus profile - speed, address and Type of Profile. In the type of Profile I recommend Profibus DP (hope remember). Speed can be 1,5 or set lower each test. Generate new cfg, download to CPU and check. I think there can be no problem with this. Can you also post picture of PB DP cable (to see both connectors)? Here can be also problem use correct I/O hole for cable on each connector...

Thank you for the screenshots.They seem to show that connections and parameters have been assigned correctly.

However, there were issues with node addressing at one point, since the BF LEDs were active on the master and the slave. What does your diagnostic buffer show on that issue (messages in the diagnostic buffer are logged and time-stamped, so you may still have logs at the time of the fault detection)?

 and how is your connection with Profibus cable from CPU to IM?

From CPU you goes out from A1-B1 or A2-B2? terminating resistor are ON?

red wire in red terminal and green wire in green terminal.

the cable is approximately 1 meter long, i tried both resistors on,  both resistors off,  one on and one off but nothing seems to help.

is there a possibility that i can verify if the cable is oke with my digital multimeter
