Well, how many AS systems do you have? The limit for PCS7 is set at 64 AS systems which can be accessed by one OS server. A maximum of 12000 PO can be accessed. What you want to do is to create a multiproject (default for PCS7). In there you can create projects like AS01, AS02, AS03. Then after creating the AS projects, you will create an OS project containing a Simatic PC station with a WinCC application (redundant OS is possible, so you can create also two PC stations in the OS project). After that, it's time to create the plant hierarchy. You will create one plant hierarchy at one AS project or OS project. After that, you can distribute the plant hierarchy to all other projects by using the one you created as template. Now you can fill the AS projects with CFC/SFC and your OS project with pictures according to your plant hierarchy. You will make the AS assignment per AS project and the OS assignment for your OS project. After engineering, you can compile the OS project, where the plant hierarchy is compiled to the OS. You have access to all your AS projects. It's even possible to create multiple clients which only look at one specific AS project, thus process cell. PS: The above text is a short description of the process. If you want to take a closer look in the manuals, you can use the following links: |

Hi Nachate, You will have to use a multiproject. Please create a new multiproject by executing the PCS7 Project Wizard in Simatic Manager. Tip: Create an empty multitproject and when standing on the multiproject in component view, then right click->Insert into multiproject. With that option, you can insert your already created projects in the multiproject. you have to do some engineering like I wrote in my previous post. For the next projects: Always use a multiproject, because it offers many advantages such as using master library and updating new block types at once in all your projects inside your multiproject. |
