Yes, but you need a Siemens cable: 6ES7972-0CA23-0XA0-B, PC Adapter, RS232C to MPI, V5.x, with 9p-9p RS232 cable |

It would be quite slow - so it's better to connect via USB (if you have such opportunity). |

Usb will be support up to 5 mts.so if u r going for long better to use serial communication. |
