Control cover with one button

Hi All,

i hope someone can point me in the right direction..

I have a windowscreen i want to control with one pushbutton.

So when i push I1 once, output Q1 needs to go active and keeps active. If i push I1 once more, output Q1 needs to be inactive and output Q2 needs to go active and keeps active. etc.

They don't need to be shut off. The endstop of the screen does that. There is no other control to the screen, so no issue that it will be controlled in another way.

But i agree, its not neat. It would be good to have the outputs shutoff after a x amount of time.

Turning it off is always the better and safer option.

But if there is no further control for the screen and you don't want a limit switch, why don't you use the changeover contact of a simple impulse relay ?

That's definitely cheaper.

The screens have a build-in endstop. As i said, would be nice to turn off power after 5 minutes or so. Will look into that :-)

With this solution Q2 goes on also if no button is pressed at first time.

 This situation can be easily solved.
