Convert WinCC Screens to WinCC Flexible 2008

Hi experts ,

I have WinCC project running on site PC , and other PC with Wincc Flexible Runtime with another site

I want to create the same Screens on Wincc PC to be used on Wincc Flexible Runtime PC with same PLC tages , i aleady connect Fiber optic cable between the PLC and Wincc Flexible PC location

I want to ask how ro convert WinCC screens to work on Wincc Flexible Run time insatalled on remote PC

I want to use the same PLC tags used with WinCC with the new Wincc Flexible created screens

vice versa it is not possible

Projects created in WinCC V 6.2 can be migrated to WinCC flexible. However, only a few
components of migrated WinCC projects will be activated. The migrated project can hence
be used as a starting point for a new WinCC flexible project.

WinCC projects which are integrated in STEP 7 cannot be migrated

The following elements are migrated
● Screens
Migration includes the basic screen objects, such as circle, rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, line, polyline, polygon, static text, IO field, bars and buttons, and returns those objects in the corresponding WinCC flexible objects.
● Tags
All tags which are interconnected with an S7 PLC will be applied.
Exceptions:
– Raw data tags
– Text reference tags
– Floating point numbers 64-bit IEEE 754
– Text tags 16-bit
– Structure tags
● Structures
Structures are not migrated.
● Channels
Migration only supports S7 channels with MPI or TCP/IP protocol.
● Dynamic
Logical links between IO fields and tags will be included. All other dynamic data are
excluded from migration.

In theory, you can open a WinCC project from WinCC Flexible. It will start the Migration Wizard.
Mainly, it claims to only convert tags and screens but last time I tried this, I use Flexible 2008 SP3 to open a WinCC V7 project. Migration works only up to WinCC V6.2.Often the result of migration is too limited and disappointing.
