pls help me out to convert this s5 program to s7 300 with cpu 318-2dp

after few month started reading all the topics from this forum and tried to convert but ended with errors and warning

since iam not familiar with s5 STL programming I request anyone to help

pls find my s5 program backup taken from one of my plant

I suggest you to follow strictly all the recommendation mentioned in this manual, as our colleague posted above.

Important points

1. Prepare a table list with all new relevant DB's, FB's and FC's. This is the most important thing that you need to have in mind to avoid mistakes later on.

2. Convert you software and check detailed every code. You will have to find out all important codes that use indirect addressing. This will not be converted and you will spend a lot of time rewriting it.

3. Test every single function to make sure the are working as before. It is also important to check all fixed values when manipulating pointers in the software.

4. If you have problems when rewriting one piece of code, please post it here in the forum that everybody will try to help as far as possible.
