What is the easiest way to automaticaly store data from my 300 series CPU on a PC using a CP 343-1 Lean communication module? I found some FTP blocks in the library, but are unsure on how to use these. Anyone got any experience with this?

INS Gold Member Joined: 4/6/2006 Last visit: 2/5/2024 Posts: 604 Rating: (56)	Hello Ton, The FTP blocks are for the IT CP's and Advanced CP's they can't be used with a Lean CP. I guess the easiest way is with an OPC Server. You could use the SIMATIC NET Softnet S7 Lean for IE which can handle up to 8 connections. Then you use an OPC Client to store the data. It can be done with Excel for example.
