cp 443 of s7400 H system

naga Posts: 101 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I configured a CP443 card in an S7 400 H system, connected through ethernet to an ES. When I am going ONLINE monitoring, it is going ONLINE and after a time of around 8 min. ONLINE dynamic display is hanging with message "NO REPLY TO STEP7 MESSAGE FRAME" or some times "ONLINE connection is aborted". I checked the SCALANCE CV390 port LED status and CP443-1 (V2.3) status LED's like FDX,LINK,FAST and RUN all are normal. Pl. suggest me remedial measures. With the ES presently 5 different PLC S7 400 H systems are communicating. ThanQ naga

Stands by default on 20% in the CPU properties. Try for instance 30% Pay attention that the max.cycle time will increase. 50% means a possible doubling of the cycle time.

how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Hi naga, I hope i can understand your question. Have you try direct monitoring using the MPI port of your H-system? Is it still very slow to go online? with regards, how come?

But still if u feel i should increase i will increase the time. But after going HW ONLINE Module information how to edit this setting. Regards, naga

Problemis when i am monitoring at common RACKPCwork station. I am monitoring around 12 PLCs in the work station, and with other PLC s there is no problem. naga

Just a suggestion, try to monitor the CPU in a standalone condition i.e isolate its communication with the rest first. Then go online and monitor and see whether you still lost com. with your PC after 8 mins. Hope this helps! with regards, how come?

Another feature, I observed is this problem is not occuring when I connect PG directly to MPI port of CPU. It is occuring through Engineering STation PC connected through ETHERNET. Pl. suggest remedial measures. Other PLCs when monitored through the same ES PC there is no problem of this type. Regards, Naga
