Hello experts I'm new with Siemens step5 and I've got plc S5 100-u. I encountered problems with my simple program with two blocks OB1 and FB32. While downloading program to the cpu, plc goes into stop. I dont know whats the reason of this situation because I tried to write the pogram according to the siemens manual. Can anybody help me to understand it? regards AttachmentHYGIENST.zip (46 Downloads) |

Hello gregory245 As per the program logic you should have a DI Module in Slot-0 ( Address I0.0 .. ) and a DO Module in Slot-1 ( Address Q 1.0 .. ).Have youinstalled and wired these modules ? Is the Ribbon cable of the Bus Module ( On which I/O Modules are mounted ) plugged into the CPU ? Are the DI/DO Modules powered up ? Hope this helps Cheers Navnag |

Of course everythink is wired properly and ribbon cable is also plugged into the cpu. When I create a program in OB1 block only, then everythink works properly. The problem comes when FB's are loaded into plc. STOZUS and STOANZ control bits are active. |

Which is the CPU Type that you are using ? Please note that The FB with Formal Operands are only permitted in CPU 103 and not in CPU 100 / CPU 102 of the 100U Series. If you use these commands in CPU 100 / 102 then it will g to STOP Mode with error "NNN" in ISTACK Please see attached extract from the manual to see which commands are permitted in which CPUs. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag Attachment100U_Formal_Operands.pdf (46 Downloads) |
