CPU314C2DP_Bus fault

Hi,

machine was running in good condition for long time all of a sudden the PLC -cpu went faulty and replaced a spare CPU of same model (314c2dp)

after downloading the program the cpu is not communicating to slave devices and dp/dp coupler also showing SF&BF Fault

CPU only Bus fault blinking

any chance for dp terminal not working?

It was showing IO access error OB122,

I tried everything like deleted slave devices and created one by one etc but the this CPU's profibus dp communication is not at all working

any chance the DP port will be damaged?

How do you communicate with the PLC?

If you are on the MPI check for availabile nodes.

My last case like yours the technician swapped the ports.

2DP means 2 ports each port have different functions / configuration.

I am communicating to PLC via MPI port and downloaded the original backup program also you can see the port configurations from the network view attached in my previous post.

have a check if you can reach the devices via profibus. If not, check the wiring.

If you can reach them, rigth-click on CPU and load HW-config.

the machine was working fine already for long time can you explain how to reach devices via profibus?

I have the mpi cable only also the dp/dp coupler showing SF1,BF1 faults

if you can´t access via Profibus, you can´t access the devices on Profibus.

you can only load the config to the CPU. Then have a look online, what the CPU is complaining about.
