Hi guys I've created a sample project in PCS7. I've designed a function block by SCL and I've used in the CFC. I've created a Block_Icon and I've put it in the @template. I've created a faceplate by faceplate designer for it. All the function block,Block_Icon and its faceplate are working true but I have a problem. When I call my function block in the CFC and I compile it,The Block_Icon doesn't generate automatically into the picture of its hierarchy level and I have to copy the Block_Icon from @template and paste it into the picture manually. Please see the pictures which I put them into the attachment file. How can I create a function block which generates Block_icon automatically??? Help me please!!! Thank you. i think you need to place your block icon in @PCS7Typicals PDL file. while compiling the block icons are taken from this file. also the type property in the block icons should have @ prefix e.g. @MYSCALE/1 the block icons in the template file are for manually placing them in process picture. look at the post from Oreca who has explained the process in a very good and detailed way: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/us/en/posts/custom-block-icon/151745/?page=0&pageSize=10 |
