DCC and its effect on CU loading

gtech Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi As is well known, the criteria for determining how many axes can be controlled by a single CU320 is based on the computational loading on the CU320 cpu. I am planning a system with multiple vector axes and multiple CU320's. I'll be using DCC to create technology function programs for many of the axes. What I'd like to know is how one determines how the DCC programs will affect the loading of the CU320 and therefore how many vector axes I can allocate to each CU320. Thanks

Drives_Coach Posts: 133 Rating: (13)	The DCC manual gives a good rule of thumb for this. Of coarse it always depends how fast you want to process your DCB blocks which you can set with scan times. Attached is the exert from the manual Attachment DCCloading.pdf (634 Downloads)
