I'm only about 90% sure that the motor and encoder data I have are accurate. They're roughly 20 years old, but are Siemens and the nameplate detail states that the encoder is a TTL 1024 pulse quadrature bi-polar. I'm curious, is there a parameter in Scout that will allow me to watch encoder counts while I turn the shaft slowly? I would like to be sure that it is counting the way I understand it should. Reference speed (p2000) is set to 3000RPM, which is the rated motor speed. I'm confused though, that variable carried over from the initial parameterization doing the drive configuration. The reference voltage and amperage are at 1000 and 100 which are not correct. Do these fields not populate from the configuration like the reference speed? The motor ratings are 540V, 450A 3000RPM on the Armature and 310V, 4.8A on the fields. I've attached the archive. Thanks for your input. AttachmentAWACC_DCM.zip (55 Downloads) |
