Dear Enigma, You could use the "Report System Error' functionality in Step7 hardware configuration and make a compile of your AS-OS to generate the system messages in your project. Alternatively, you could use one of the following: SFC13 - To get diagnostic information of profibus slaves SFC87 (C_DIAG) - To get connection status of ethernet connections. Please refer the link below for information on how to configure C_DIAG in your user program https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objId=27779025&nodeid0=10805388&load=treecontent&lang=en&siteid=csius&aktprim=0&objaction=csview&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW Hope this helps. Regards, Krrish !! |

USE SFC51-RDSYST(Please use STEP7 help, select the SFC51 >F1) , Using this block you can get PLC CPU RUN/STOP,BF,SF, etc status can be readout and displayed in HMI. In such cases if the if your HMI is powered oFF, it has no meaning. But if these status are used in the PLC logic, to stop something then that means lot. Here is one link But if you want Just your PLC is connected with HMI/SCADA then a simple Heart-bit(CPU Clock bit) is enough. |
