Deviation from 0.6 A-Backplane consumption- while selecting modules for ET200M?

ROCLIM Posts: 42 Rating: (1)	Dear experts I selected following modules on an ET200M.I considered the current consumption of each module from Backplane and the total value is less then 0.6 A. DI(15)+DO(100)+DO (110)+AI(50)+AI(50)+TC(100)+TC(100)TOTAL= 525mili ampere How much deviation from 0.6 A is acceptable? Best regards Splitted from ET200 RACK BACK PLANE .

Hello ROCLIM I think you are looking at the wrong value andthere is some confusion happening between the 24V related supply currentinto the IM153-2 and it5V related backplane current supply capacity. As per IM153-2 technical spec it can draw a maximum of0.6 Ampfrom the 24V supply, out of which itcandeliver a maximumof1.5 Amp to the 5V backplane bus though (i.e. you have plenty of spare capacity with your selection).
