Diagnostics addresses, status port, please help!!

Hello, What can I read out from the diagnostics addresses from the ports on a IM151-3 node, PLC ?How do I readthe address ? Has anybody used SFB52 RDREC function ? I can not get it to work! http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/38566021 I really need the help from you! I have a ring configuration of profinet I/O nodes (switches, IM51-3, PLC). I would like to detect when the ring is broken and where by supervise the status of the ports. Is this the correct way to do it ? Please help!! Regards Jens |
