Digital outputs located outside the process image !

In the hardware configuration its address is located outside the "process image" area. My question is how can I address each bit individually? Is it like PQ304.0? Regards. Tomy.

Hi Tomy, no, PQ304.0 is not possible. But you can do as follow: L PIW 304 T MW 304 U M 304.0

Hello, In hardware configuration If you have mentioned the Starting Address as 50 for Example.You have to Address each bit as Q50.0,Q50.1...............till Q50.7

All you can do is to identify the starting bit for the module. You have to select a byte inside the image. For examply byte 20. And then you can call the outputs as Q20.0 to Q20.7 Hope this helps.

You can use "Peripheral addressing" if The address areas of modules are not assigned to any address image. In the control program you need input values that are more recent than those available in the process image. Output values are to be written as quickly as possible to the outputs (at least one byte). How can you address I/O bytes and individual bits via the I/O?. Best regards. H-H

Example: I 1.0 becomes Q 304.0 = A I 1.0 = M304.0 L MB 304 T PQB 304 Beware, MB304 is now for Q304 only! You can use MW304 also, if there are 16 DO.
