We are in 20 Nov. 2018 now We are (a water treatment package : ultrafilteration UF system / condensate polishing system/chlorin gas system ) power plant we need 3 plcs for the 3 systems. Do s7-1500 have redundancy in each component (CPU-Storage-Power Supply.....etc) and redundancy with more than one PLC (of the same model : s7-1500)? Please tell me as soon as possible [snip] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Hussein, Finally, the S7-1500R/H have been released few days ago and will be exhibited next week in SPS fair. Delivery release of redundant controllers based on S7-1500 S7-1500R/H redundant systems manual
No redundant interface modules in IO racks, no hot swapping in ET200MP (you can use ET200SP) and of course no redundant IOs. I also believe that complete download in run will not be available. Best regards, H-H |

Thanks a lot I asked about : 1-Redundancy including processors , memories , power supplies , power feeders and data communication channels in one s7-1500 PLC 2-Redundancy between more than one 1500 PLC : this means when one of them failed or damaged the other one operates instead of the damaged one please provide all answers for all questions |
